Social media has become a huge part of our everyday lives. There are plenty of benefits: receiving information, meeting new people, connecting with family or friends, and learning new things. However, there is a downside. The regular use of social media has been linked to anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and loneliness (Stabler, 2021).
Halle Buckley (pictured to the left) is an established victim advocate with her local crisis center. She has completed her Bachelor's in forensic psychology with a minor in criminal justice and is currently working on her Master's degree in communications.
